If you received an offset or correction from the IRS, you will need to speak with them directly to get this resolved.  For more information on this, please see the Help Article here.

To reach out to the IRS directly, please try the below steps:

    IRS: 800-829-1040

Hours: 7 AM - 7 PM, local time

    Monday-Friday

    • Listen to each menu before making the selection.
    • First choose your language. Press 1 for English.
    • Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
    • Instead, press 2 for "personal income tax".
    • Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
    • Then press 3 "for all other questions."
    • Then press 2 "for all other questions."  It should then transfer you to an agent.

I have tried this and if they do answer they transfer me and call ends. No one is helping! This is the first time using TurboTax and I would never use this again!

I received the same error! It said the dependents social was incorrect and I made over 75k. I don’t have dependents to claim and I made less than 75k! I keep seeing where intuits bank has law suits for taking peoples money! This is Tax fraud for sure by TurboTax. I will not be using them next year and need someone to reach out to me asap to fix this. I shouldn’t need to go to the President of turbo tax to get this resolved.
