Can I use EFTPS instead of https://www.irs.gov/payments for 2019payment after April 15, 2020?

I plan to pay my taxes due after April 15, 2020, based on the new extension. In TurboTax, I have chosen pay by check.

Do I need to use the https://www.irs.gov/payments website? Or can I use EFTPS website. I have used EFTPS website in the past, so I'm comfortable with it. I just didn't know if there was a difference.

You can use EFTPS. Most people find Direct Pay simpler and easier, but if you are already enrolled in EFTPS and you are comfortable with it, go ahead and use it.

Thank you for your reply.

In the meantime, seems that TurboTax has been updated and is allowing direct deposit dates up to July 15, 2020 now. So I will stick with TurboTax. But alas, I cannot file my return until after I get the stimulus since my 2019 income was way higher than 2018.
