Question

Can I file 2020 taxes if 2019 is still being processed?

I mailed my 2019 taxes early February of this year and went ahead and paid my taxes online instead of sending a check. Can I go ahead and file my 2020 return? I dont owe this time and was wondering if I'd get a refund since I already paid what I owed. Just didnt know if I would get my return since my 2019 taxes are still being processed.

Yes, you can file your 2020 tax return while your 2019 return is processing.

You can answer no, because they are not yet in the IRS system and are still being processed. Enter 0 when asked for AGI.
