Can I e-file form 8822 change of address

I need to know if I can e-file form 8822.  My return has been accepted and I have moved and wanted to know if I could e-file form 8822 before the IRS mails my check

No, you can not e-file your change of address.

No,  you cannot e-file the form 8822 Change of Address.  Here is a link with information on where to mail the completed form.

    The change of address has to be mailed.

    @Roy wyatt  We can not file the form 8822 for you. Please see About Form 8822, Change of Address. As for your income tax, please let us know if you have any further issues with which we can assist. Most tax refunds were slow to process.
