TurboTax does not have your W-2.

You should have your W-2's Your employer was required by law to get them to you no later then Jan 31, 2020. You are required to keep them for at least 3 years in case the IRS asks for them.

The PDF printout of your tax return contains the W-2 worksheets that contain the information that you entered, but not the actual W-2. You can download the PDF and all worksheets.

If you need a copy of your W-2 then ask your employer.

You can get a free "Wage and Income" transcript form the IRS but that is is not a copy of the W-2 and contains no state information.

You can get an exact copy of the W-2 from the Social Security Administration for $90 per copy.

Are you looking for copies of tax returns or your W-2's?

    I NEED A COPY OF MY W-2  (or 1099)

TurboTax does not have a copy of your W-2—the Wage & Tax Statement—issued to you by your employer, (nor does TurboTax have copies of your 1099’s).   You should always save those documents for your own records. You could ask the employer(s) for copies or you can get a copy from Social Security (for a fee of $90).

If you saved a pdf of your completed tax return, the worksheets will show the W-2 information you entered, but not the actual W-2.

You can get a wage and income transcript from the IRS:  It will not show the actual W-2, 1099’s, etc, but will show the income information the IRS received.  It will not, however, show your state information. It will only show the federal information.

Or you can pay the IRS $50 for an actual copy of your tax return which will include copies of your W-2’s

TurboTax and the IRS save returns for 7 years.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
