Question

Apparently Turbo tax submitted my returnwithout our signatures. Is that correct?

My copy has no signatures. How could tt hey do that..I thought they checked the returns.

There is no actual physical signature.  When you efiled you signed by entering the prior year AGI for verification.  If you efiled, In the PDF of your TurboTax return, the last page of the federal return should be an "electronic postmark" that shows your name, Social Security number, the date and time that you e-filed the return, and the date that the IRS accepted it.

 

Otherwise you need to print out your return and sign it yourself in ink.  Or if you need to give someone a copy you need to sign it in ink yourself.

when you submit by e-File, your return is presumed to be signed.
