Amended CA state return not received by the state agency

Hello all,

I tried e-filing an amended return a while ago, but have not received any confirmation from TurboTax regarding delivery of the amended return. I called the California state tax contact number and they have not received the amended return. They did issue a refund based on the original tax filing.

Is e-filing not an option for amended returns? Should I print and mail a physical copy of the amendment?

Did you electronically file your state return? If so, you should be able to electronically file your state return based upon the information provided by xmasbaby0 above. However, if you mailed your state return in, you will need to mail your state amended return in.
