Question

Am I able to get my 2017 tax return that I filed as a 1040EZ as a different type of form to be submitted to my financial aid office through turbotax?

My financial aid office says that they will "rarely" accept 1040 forms, I am not sure how to get my tax return as a different form without going through the IRS.

You could not get another type of 2017 federal tax return through TurboTax.

If the financial aid personal have a problem with an IRS Form 1040EZ, then ask to speak with a supervisor.

IRS Forms 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ are the only Individual Federal Tax Returns for tax year 2017

Form 1040 - U.S. Individual Income Tax Return

Form 1040A - U.S. Individual Income Tax Return

Form 1040EZ - Income Tax Return for Single and Joint Filers With No Dependents

if they say they rarely accept 1040 forms, then you should ask them what they want.   if a 1040EZ isn't ok then neither will any other 1040 version.
