Already filed w2 but need to add w9

When I was filing my W-2 for one job I went through the steps to complete it and it didn’t give me an option to add a W9 after completion for my other form of income. How can I go back and add it in before it’s too late?

You do not enter a W-9 on a tax return. What are you trying to enter? Do you have self-employment income? Did someone give you a W-9 to fill out so they can issue a 1099NEC to you?

@Victoriag1 Okay---- now what kind of 1099? Is it a 1099NEC ---- or some other kind? There are over a dozen kinds of 1099's and we need to know what kind you have so we can tell you how to enter it.

And.....did you already e-file with the W-2? What did you mean by "before it's too late?"
