2024 tax return never came. Turbotax claims filing was accepted a year ago. IRS account transcripts claim filing was never received. Can't speak to anyone. Stuck in limbo
I'm losing my mind. I've spent months trying to talk to someone at IRS and Turbotax with no luck. I'm now about to file for 2025 but I'm worried the same thing will happen again.
I filed on March 15th, 2025. State return arrived within a week. No problem. Federal return has been stuck in processing to this day (April 6th, 2026) I finally checked my account transcripts on IRS and it says it never received my filing. I went to Turbotax and it says my filing was accepted the same week I filed. I can't speak to a human if it meant my life. I submitted for help to the taxpayer advocate system and never heard anything from them. I'm at a total loss as to what to do next besides cursing out Ai bots.
