1040X for 2020 - When can I eFile via TT?

I've prepared my 1040X - it is ready to submit. TT will not allow me to eFile it.

I'm assuming TT can't accept it since IRS eFiling has not started.

What DATE will I be able to eFile my 1040X?

*** Correct Answer: You CANNOT as a regular user of TT eFile an Amended Return. ***

IRS now accepts eFiling for Amended Returns. The catch is it must be filed by a Practitioner registered with IRS. As a regular user you cannot eFile - you must print it out and mail it in.

I think IRS is missing the boat here.

TurboTax has ended all e-filing for 2020. You will need to print and mail your amended return.
