Resetting the devices that can access your TurboTax account

  1. Sign in to TurboTax and select the Take me to my return button on the main screen.
  2. Select Intuit Account from the left-hand side of the screen to access Account Settings.
  3. Choose Security and select View next to  Account Activity.

The Account Activity page lists the devices used to access your account, the date and time your account was accessed and the approximate location of the device used.

If you don’t recognize a device that was used to access your account, select Change your password to reset devices at the bottom of the page.

Changing your password will revoke access to all devices on the list, except the one you’re currently using. Once the reset is completed, which can take up to 60 minutes, your new password is required when any device is used to access your account.

For an additional layer of security, you can also enable two-step verification.
