question about property improvements relating to converting home to a rental
In bought my husband out of his half of our home in our divorce in 2015. In 2017 I converted it to a rental property. Do I use that amount I paid him for his half as the amount I paid for the property in the "enter purchase price" section?
Then, in the "any property improvements made?" section, would I only include improvements made since I bought him out in the divorce?
