donation of children's books to elementary school

I donated about 25 boxes full of children's books plus around 30 stuffed animals and 15-20 big books to an elementary school last fall.  Is that tax deductible? How much?

If you itemize deductions (Schedule A), you may deduct your charitable contributions.

When entering your charitable contributions in TurboTax, select GuideMe and TurboTax will help you assign a value to your donated items. Alternately, you can enter your donations directly into the free ItsDeductible program.
