Should I Amend if forgotten item makes no difference in tax due?

If you are absolutely certain there would be NO change in tax; then no, I wouldn't file an amended.

I would make a note and keep the information with your copy of the tax return and remainder of your information just in case there is any inquiry.

I forgot to add dependent to my tax return for this year. In which would be the 5th child. Should I amend my tax return? Or would it not make a difference to do so?
