TurboTax Home and Business 2017 seems to have made some errors in figuring the Georgia Retirement Income Exclusion. The main error on my return is it is using materially participated S-Corp Income as Retirement income.
Georgia classifies all "Participated Income" as Earned Income not Retirement income. I did not catch this until I had already filed my return. In fact line 13 of the worksheet seems to be a mess for all types of income -Rents, Royalties etc., etc. : these incomes are not properly allocated between spouses even though they are allocated on the Federal return which is the source of the data.
