Hi,
I opened a new bank account on April 5, 2020 after I received my income tax return! I am the only person I know that has not gotten their stimulas check yet and I was wondering if its because I switched bank accounts and my new bank information isn't on my turbo tax account?
That is a hot topic right now! Here is some information that might help you https://blog.turbotax.intuit.com/tax-news/wheres-my-stimulus-check-how-to-check-the-status-of-your-s...
Yes how can I change it?
It depends.
If you have not filed your return yet, you can make this change in the File section of the program.
Changing Direct Deposit information
Entering bank direct deposit information
If you have already filed your return and it has been accepted, you cannot make any changes to your return as it has already been transmitted to the IRS. If your bank account is no longer there, the deposit will be rejected and your refund will be mailed on a paper check to the address on the tax return filed.
