misleading

Unable to get a person on the phone, no way to email a complaint so trying this. Purchased Deluxe version without state. Decided I needed state, purchased state (at about the same price that I paid for Deluxe), did state taxes and then found out that had to pay additional fee to e-file. I'm sure that somewhere in fine print this was disclosed but it was not obvious at all. Then trying to speak with someone and nada. Extremely poor customer service when you can't find a way to connect (phone number is electronic system) and misleading advertising!  Yes, shame on me but hopefully this will prevent someone else from this mistake.

I am going through a similar issue. My previous year return is stored in their system and they said it was no charge, but, it won't let me download my return and I need it for legal hearing on Thursday.

They are holding my return hostage and there is no way to speak to a human and I don't speak computer very well.

Therefore, I will never ever use Turbo Tax or any Intuit program. They have burnt me for the very last time.

Now I have to pay an accountant, but, at least I will have access to my account whenever I need it.

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
