eFile rejection due to non-matching AGI

Okay, I'm late.  In fact I just filed 2016 a week or two ago.  I'm trying to file my 2017 and it's saying my AGI doesn't match my 2016 AGI. I'm guessing this is the case because they haven't processed the 2016 return yet.  Is there a way to let them know it's okay, it'll all make sense when you get to the 2016 return?  Or am I just stuck and have to send via snail mail?

eFile rejection due to non-matching AGI

Try using zero  0   as the AGI amount.
