Working on a downloaded TT 2014 package. How do I save my progress?

I bought the 2014 downloadable program to file back taxes, and have been working on it, but need to shut it down for nos. It doesn't appear to have a "save progress" option like the online version does. It only appears to be able to save to my computer file. Do I do a "Save As", and then reopen that later to pick up where I left off, or...?

Thanks for any help 🙂

When using the desktop version of the program that you physically install on your computer, *EVERYTHING* is saved on  your computer. There is no other option because the current version of TurboTax Online can only be used for the currently active tax year, which at this point is still 2017.

With the desktop version of the program (any tax year) you save it to your computer, or you don't save it at all.
