Prior year taxes and dependents

Currently filing my taxes for 2014. TurboTax is asking if anyone can claim me as a dependent on their return. Is the question referring to 2014 or the current filing year (2017)?

As of 2014, as you are completing the 2014 tax return.

Not sure I understand your response. During the year 2014 I was a dependent, but in 2015 I wasn't. What should I write on the form?
