Mortgae Insurance Now Alowed as Itemized Deduction

The 2017 Form 1040 Schedule A (Itemized Deductions) Line 13 (formerly labeled 'Reserved for future use' has been updated to now read 'Mortgage Insurance Premiums'.

I have file my return without taking this deduction - the TURBO TAX software did not allow.

Please advise when the software will be UPDATED to reflect this change so that I will be able to AMEND my 2017 Federal Income Tax Return.

Mortgae Insurance Now Alowed as Itemized Deduction

The software is updated and the form has been IRS finalized, so you may amend now if your original return is fully processed.
