MA efile pre-check issue with the initial of midname

I completed my tax return and started e-filing of both federal and MA state. The federal e-filing worked out fine. However, the pre-check on MA state e-filing reported extra dot after my mid-name initial on both the personal info worksheet and schedule C. It kept asking me for recheck and without allowing me to even update the initial by removing the dot.

Anyone run into this problem? What's the work around?

Can you navigate to the Personal Info section and remove the dot? Then run the review again before efiling the state.
