How to replace imported 2016 tax return file in 2017 return

I imported the wrong 2016 tax return file into my 2017 tax return.  I dint realized this until I was doing a final review.
Is there a way to re-import the correct 2016 tax file without having to start a new 2017 tax return file?

No, once you have transferred in a 2016 file into a 2017 return, the only way to retransfer the file (this time the correct one) is to start a new return.
