Forms data

I would like to know how can I go from a field in the 'form' to its data. I am in 4797 and all the fields are locked. Where does TT get its data from and how can I chase it back to correct it. (TT Premier)

If you are using TurboTax CD?download version, you can select the Forms mode. Then locate the field you wish to trace data from. Right click and fro the short cut menu select 'data source'. This will open a pop up box, where you see all worksheet links that the figure was derived from.
