Claiming EIC but not Child Tax Credit?

This is my first year filing taxes post divorce. I am the custodial parent and will be filing HoH and EIC (ex has not taken any overnights). However, per our decree, he is allowed to claim 1 of our 3 children every year for the child tax credit. When I enter their information, there doesn’t seem to be an option for this - either I claim all 3 or only 2 and lose out on my 3rd child for the EIC. Am I just misunderstanding how everything works? I know in prior years there was an option to convey that you were allowing the other parent to claim the credit, but EIC is never available to the non custodial parent.

Unfortunately , for EIC , you must be the one claiming them as a dependent

So you could only claim 2 children for EIC
