Can I claim independent if 22, making $56k/year, but on parents health insurance plan for the year?

Story is, I'm 22 years old making roughly $56,000/year as a full-time student and I pay for more than 90% of my expenses including tuition, car payments , car insurance, phone bills, and other living expenses, I live with my brother, but the only thing is my mom pay for is my health insurance. Would I still be eligible to file independent this year and receive the American Opportunity Tax Credit? Also, if I'm on my mom's 1095 A, what does that mean? Thank you

Not only can you "file independently" (claim your own exemption), you have to. (Presuming you have permanently moved out of your mother's house and aren't living elsewhere temporarily while at school.)

As for insurance - if covered by a parent's plan, then you have insurance.
